Ahead of our Thai Dinner Party on Tuesday next, we thought we would cast our minds back to the not-so-distant past and another of our ever-successful Thai Dinner Parties.
On our Thai Dinner Party course, our aim is to give you the confidence to throw your own Thai-themed party.
Chef Damien was the man-in-charge for the evening, and he started off going through the techniques needed for recreate the perfect menu.
Prawn toasts were first and if you’re ever on our Thai course, you really have to forget about the prawn toasts you get in the takeaway!
These toasts were light but yet held the delicate flavour of the prawns and combined with the crisp texture of the toasted bread, the sensation was divine.
Time for the curry, and soon the students bound themselves basking in spices.
Topping things off for the evening, it was time to cleanse the palette with a mango, banana and lychees in lime.
With full tummies, and the spices of Thailand still in the air, it was time to say “goodbye” to our students for the night.
We’re looking forward to welcoming them back to Cooks Academy soon.
