Light, Gooey and Delightfully Sweet: Delectable Treats on Our Macaron Workshop

Would you believe that macarons are said to have been around since the 1500s?

Macarons are all the rage these days, and our workshop sells out quick with people wondering how these delicious treats come to be.

A French meringue-based confection, it’s commonly filled with a ganache sandwiched between two cookies.

Chef instructors Darina and Damien were looking after the students this evening and with looks of determination, we set off on a macaron journey!

With a little love and a lot of patience, the macarons started to take shape with a variety of flavours for the ganache filling. Pistachio filling anyone?

Once you learn how to make your own macarons, you’ll never go back to buying them ever again (plus, they make fantastic gifts and you’ll be the envy of your friends).
