T’is the season! The Christmas period in Cooks Academy is always a busy one and between regular courses and corporate bookings, we also have festive workshops.
Today Chef Instructor and sweet-treat queen Darina Kelly hosted our Edible Christmas Gifts and Treats course, and with a variety of goodies to get through, all eyes and ears were on her.
From gingerbread cookies and truffles, to whoopie pies, brittle and homemade peanut butter cups, after a quick demo from Darina, the students got cracking.
With much patience, careful piping and expert cutting, before their eyes the treats began to appear.
And with happy smiles all around, the students wrapped up their treats to bring home.
